I’m understanding the logistics better. Substack offers more streamlined networking than Patreon. I can see how it would be easier to get subscribers with a newsletter optimized service. It doesnt have the bells and whistles that Patreon does but it offers a more direct path to readers, pretty simple.
I could get addicted to this format, posts on social media and Patreon always felt like it was lost in the ether.. of course, as I write this, I’m just talking to myself, but I at least can see a path to growing an audience.
