Now on the old site I used Wordpress with the Comic Easel theme and that was never optimized for mobile. I never liked how it looked on the phone. Webtoons and Instagram, on the other hand, looks awesome on mobile but you can’t really turn them into a personal website, sure you could probably build your own, there’s themes now for vertical comics, but you still got the same networking problem as you do with any other website.. where it’s just kinda there by itself. IG is social media, Webtoons has that sort of shared marketplace…I’m thinking Substack will compensate with its newsletter integration that’s already optimized for mobile.
So here’s a test to see how the vertical line comic looks sent to the inbox. I already like how my square format looks, but this might work better.
